Cops, Kids & Families Program
This is the official page for the Hatcher Cole Fraternal Order of Police FOP Foundation, Cops, Kids & Families Program. This program was designed to build relationships between Hatcher Cole FOP Lodge 38 and the Hanover community. This program supplies underprivileged kids and their families holiday meals for Thanksgiving and Christmas and help shop for Christmas presents. Showing these kids and their families that Hanover Sheriff’s Deputies, Police Officers and Jail Officers in Hanover County are friends and are always there to lend a helping hand. By giving a child a present when they wouldn’t have received one, or a meal when they may go without, can make a lasting impression. This program is supported by various donors, like you! Christmas 2023
This Christmas Hatcher Cole FOP lodge 38 was able to provide several needy families with holiday meals and Christmas gifts due to a generous donation from Food Lion. Hatcher Cole FOP lodge 38 continues to help local families in need this time of the year. Hatcher Cole FOP would like to thank Food Lion for its continued support to provide for local families in need during the Christmas season.

This Christmas, Food Lion has once again generously donated gift cards to help assist Hatcher Cole FOP lodge 38 provide local needy families with meals and Christmas gifts for children who may have gone without. A huge thank you to FOP member B. Klapper for donating his own time to present coloring books, crayons, toy police cars, and stuffed animals (pictured to the left) to children attending the Gingerbread preschool at Shalom Baptist Church on Monday. The Hatcher Cole FOP Lodge is happy to donate these items helping to create positive interactions between our local children when encountering sheriff's deputies or police officers.
