ABOUT
On October 7, 1975, at Ashland, Virginia, Ashland Lodge #38 was granted a charter by Douglas G McCloud, Secretary of the Virginia State Lodge of the Fraternal Order of Police. By acceptance of this charter, the Ashland Lodge affiliated their effort with the State Lodge of the Fraternal Order of Police of Virginia, Incorporated, for the furtherance of the principles and precepts of the Order as a Subordinate Lodge.
The Grand Lodge of the Fraternal Order of Police is a non-profit Order formed under the Laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, established November 18, 1915, a Grand Fraternal Order, established for and managed by Laws Enforcement Officers, the same being employed by municipal, city, township, county, state and federal governments and actively engaged in the enforcement of the statute laws therein.
